A resurrection emphasis does not diminish the significance of the Cross. What the Cross ends the Resurrection begins. The apostolic appeal was based upon the Resurrection and not the Cross. He was declared to be the Son of God by the Resurrection and Spirit of Holiness. Resurrection validates all of the earthly ministry of Jesus and authorized Pentecost. Resurrection inaugurates a new age and order. What God did for Jesus on Easter He will ultimately do for all creation.
